I've always liked to draw what I'm writing, especially if I get stuck on plot or character development. Sometimes, it's been practical, like when I want an illustration to use as the cover of a chapbook. Other times, I just want to draw.
Because the story's been with me so long, I've drawn more "Maggie Stuart" pictures than almost anything else. She's as real to me as most of my friends. You can read the first novel about her, The Last Rite, either as an ebook or listen to the audiobook.
