"Play Me" started off as "Play Me in the Key Of Sexy," which was written for my friend Juliann Kuchocki's new jazz album. But, being the talented writer she is, Jules came up with her own song, much more on the lines of what the "key of sexy" meant to her as opposed to what I put into this track. So, as they say in the advertising world, I rebranded the product, and now can't imagine the hook being any BUT "Play me like a melody." And who knows? Juliann may end up recording it at some point anyhow!
